Junior Infants were learning all about the work of a farmer, farm animals and vegetables grown on a farm. We made a giant farm picture with the words we learned. We also made a vegetable patch.

Rang a Sé made some Horrible Haunted Halloween Heads as an Art project in October. First we used Mod Roc to cover balloons for the shape of our heads. We then used cardboard, tissue, paper and other shapes to add features like eyes, ears and even horns!

            Junior Infants had a wonderful Easter! 

In school we melted chocolate and made 

Easter nests with chocolate eggs.

We also coloured and decorated our own Easter eggs.

Junior Infants had great fun getting ready for St. Patrick's Day!

 

We made paper plate hats and decorated them with seamróg glas.

We learned that the Irish flag is green, white and orange.

Junior Infants were busy using clay to make our own little pinch pots. 

 

We had great fun moulding the pots.

We had to squeeze, roll and pinch the clay to make the shape of the pots.

After they dried and hardened we painted them and decorated them with glitter.

Rang a dó made very spooky Hallowe'en castle pictures. We had great fun on Hallowe'en dress up day and enjoyed walking through the 'House of Horrors' which was made in the hall by our caretaker Paul Rafferty!

In Senior Infants we used wax crayons to make Kandinsky inspired Autumn leaves. Kandinsky loved making patterns with bright and dark colours. 

 

We also made fruit bowls using felt, sugar paper and hessian paper!
