Rang a Sé made some Horrible Haunted Halloween Heads as an Art project in October. First we used Mod Roc to cover balloons for the shape of our heads. We then used cardboard, tissue, paper and other shapes to add features like eyes, ears and even horns!
Next we had to paint our spooky heads appropriate colours. It was quite a messy job!
Everyone in Rang a Sé worked with a partner to design, make and paint our Horrible Heads.
We had great fun making our heads. In fact they were so spooky that Paul used them as part of his "Haunted House" on the Friday before the mid-term break.
Finally, because our heads were hollow, Mr McGrath suggested that we fill some full of sweets and use them as Pinatas! Any group who wanted to use their heads as Pinatas were welcome to. We asked Ms Kearns and Ms Cinnamond's Senior Infants to help us smash them!
