We got into small groups. We then chose a topic and five headings within that topic. We surveyed our classmates and asked them which was their favourite out of the five things.
We then designed block graphs, pictograms and bar charts to display our findings.
We looked at different lines: vertical, horizontal, diagonal, parallel and perpendicular. We made different lines with each other. It was great fun!
We also looked at right angles. We found lots of right angles in our classroom. We used lollipop sticks to create right angles.
We were learning about metres and centimetres. We estimated the length and width of things in our classroom and in the school grounds. We then used metre strips to measure them. We recorded the differences between our estimates and measurements.
